Mandatory parent meeting

Date TBA. One parent/guardian must be present; players attend as well. Please read the documents below before the meeting.

River Way Player Parent Expectations

Hour-A-Thon Fundraiser

One hour, one time — our single biggest team fundraiser of the season.

What it is

The whole team gets together for one hour and calls, texts, and messages family and friends to ask them to support Columbia River Volleyball. Every player uses the Hour-A-Thon app, which handles the outreach and the donations, so there is nothing to sell and no money to collect by hand.

Why we do it

It funds the things school budgets don't cover — team gear, tournament entries, travel, senior night, team dinners, and end-of-season celebrations. Doing it all in one hour means we don't ask your family to fundraise all season long.

What to do now: your athlete downloads the Hour-A-Thon app and loads at least 20 quality phone numbers by Friday, August 28th.

Fan Gear

Sweatshirts, extra shirts, and Dig Pink shirts for players and families. Order by Friday, August 28th.

This is the one place to order CRVB gear this season: sweatshirts, extra shirts for the family, and Dig Pink shirts. Please order Dig Pink shirts now if your daughter wants one or if you want one — these are ordered as a batch and can't be added later. All proceeds go to the Pink Lemonade Foundation.

Parent Sign-Ups

Two things to sign up for: match duty and team dinners.

1. Match duty — 3 per family

Every family signs up for at least three lines/scorekeeping slots a season. Use the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet to see the different options. New to scorekeeping? Training videos are in the hub — please don't let that stop you. If you haven't done lines, you'll get a quick briefing before the match (it's simple!).

2. Team dinners

Team dinners are hosted at players' houses and rotate by team — Varsity, JV, and C team. Each team is responsible for hosting one dinner, and families sign up for what they can bring.

Student Driver and Rider Forms

Three forms, depending on who is driving and who is riding. All forms — and the folders you upload them to — live in one Drive folder.

Student Rider form

Required for your player to ride to or from any volleyball event with anyone other than her parents/guardians — including coaches (varsity tournaments), other parents, or players. List every parent/player/family member she has permission to ride with. You may write "any CRVB parent or coach" and "the 2026 season" for the dates.

Student Driver form

For a player driving other players. She must have had her license at least 6 months, have a Student Driver form on file, AND be listed on the Student Rider form of every player she drives.

Parent Driver form

Required for any parent driving a player other than their own child.

Where to get them and where to upload: all three forms are in the transportation folder below. Upload your completed form to the folder labeled with your athlete's last and first name.
